The Sandtrooper gear pictured at left was created using casts taken from a POTF 2 Sandtrooper backpack and shoulder armor and a Stormtrooper rifle.

NOTES:

RTV (Room Temperature Vulcanizing) Rubber was used to produce the molds for the backpack, rifle and shoulder armor. Casts taken from these molds were made from CR-300 2-part casting resin. The resin casts of the backpack and shoulder armor were then modified to fit onto a vintage Kenner Stormtrooper. New molds of the modified shoulder armor were then made for the final pieces.

The backpack and rifle were base-coated in satin black. The rifle was then painted gunmetal. The shoulder armor was hand brush painted

This gear easily snaps on and off of a vintage Kenner Stormtrooper without any damage to the figure.

A plastic clip was made from a section of styrene tubing that was cut into 1/8 inch sections, split and spread to the correct size to lock onto the torso of a vintage Kenner Stormtrooper figure.
