Pictured left are three of my custom carded Kenner "Belloq (In Ceremonial Robe)" figures. Only a handful (about a dozen or so) of the actual Kenner samples of this figure in carded form are know to exist, most are in poor shape and are thought to be sales samples. Of those that are known to exist, there are two packaging variations involving the placement of the jeweled chest plate. See images at left and descriptions bellow:

ex. 1) The first carded Sample has the figure wearing the jeweled chest plate. Kenner is not known to have packaged this figure this way.

ex. 2) The second carded Sample has the jeweled chest plate hidden behind the figure. Kenner is known to have packaged this figure this way.

ex. 3) The third carded Sample has the jeweled chest plate around the staff and taped to the blister. Kenner is also known to have packaged this figure this way.

How they were made...

The figures are actual Kenner ROTLA Belloq "Mail-Away" premiums. The blister (bubble) the figure is encased in came from tjstoys.com. I pieced the card together in digital TIFF format after MUCH research on the actual pieces getting everything down to the item and assortment numbers, even the correct POP on the the back, which reads "BELLOQ IN ROBE". I spent more time gathering information and creating this particular card than any other custom card in my collection to date.
