This is simple guide intended to
aid in classic Indiana Jones customs customs. These would be
weapons that one would expect to see in the hands of German soldiers in
the classic Indy movies Raiders of the Lost Ark and
The Last Crusade. You may notice that some of these
weapons did not see production until after the dates the movies were
supposed to have represented; however, the movies did use and show
weapons from later time periods than possible. Most notable may be the
extensive use of the MP-40 in Raiders which was set in 1936. Other date
errors in the movies include the use of wrong military marking. e.g. the
use of the D.A.K. emblem on the back of the truck that kidnaps Brody in
Last Crusade. This movie was set in 1939, but D.A.K. wasn't formed until
1941. |

Panzerfaust
Infantry Antitank Projector 60
In service 1943-1945. Smaller 30 and "SMALL" Panzerfaust
were also in use.
These were little more than a disposable rocket launcher with shaped charge
head, but were highly effective and produced in massive numbers.. |

Raketen-Panzerbüchse (1943~)
Designed after captured US M1A1 Bazooka, but much more
robust. These were highly effective and earned the nicknamed "Tank Terror,"
but were large and heavy to carry and produced in much smaller numbers than
the Panzerfaust. |
